BBYO Information Session on September 21st

[pullquote]Information Session on September 21st, 4:30 p.m. at the UJC [/pullquote]All parents know that our society demands a lot of youth these days. While dealing with the pressures of school and social groups, teens are expected to make mature decisions with limited life experience. Halutzim BBYO is at your side to help Jewish parents raise confident, engaged and well-prepared teenagers (grades 9-12). Our programs provide innovative opportunities and a stress-free environment that not only allows teens to customize their own experience but that also grows with them to accommodate their changing needs. Through BBYO, teens are given real responsibilities and develop leadership skills that relate to their everyday lives.

The BBYO movement is growing as more and more Jewish teens and their parents are rediscovering the value and history of our Jewish heritage. We invite you and your family to become involved and benefit from our broad menu of programs and activities. Our specific chapter, Halutzim BBYO, convenes bi-monthly at Temple Beth El and at the United Jewish Community of the Virginia Peninsula. All interested parents and teens are encouraged to attend an information session at 4:30 p.m. on September 21st at the UJC. In the meantime, we encourage you to browse our new website, The 2014-2015 programming calendar is also accessible via this site.

Our chapter advisor, Jonathan Wertheim, is happy to speak to you regarding BBYO or answer any questions you may have regarding events.
