Our Campus

The UJCVP Campus is the Jewish hub of the Virginia Peninsula, connecting people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds.

You Belong Here.  Everyone is welcome at the UJCVP. Our campus is a place where our community can come together to learn, share, relax and celebrate. It’s a place where everyone from kids to seniors can have fun and connect.

Town Square of Jewish Community

People routinely gather and form meaningful relationships with each other on our campus through a robust lineup of programs, celebrations, meetings and classes.  To accommodate this busy schedule, our facilities include a large atriummulti-purpose rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, and the Leonard & Sylvia Waters Media Center.

Recreation Facilities

From pickup basketball to yoga, the UJCVP offers opportunities to exercise, embrace wellness practices, and thrive.  Our facilities include an indoor multi-sport gymnasium, the Jack & Eric Luckman Outdoor Basketball Court, and outdoor playscapes.

Nature Trails & Wildlife Habitat

Certified as a Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, our wooded oasis is home to guided nature trails, a mud kitchen, and an educational bee observatory hut.  These treasures are integral to our nature-based education and available for community members to enjoy.

Outdoor Adventure Ropes Course

Come take towards the sky on our parkour course and high ropes adventure course! Adventurers can climb two stories in the air to face challenges including rickety bridges, suspended ropes, and other balancing obstacles. This course empowers users to develop friendships, confidence, and leadership skills.

Sarfan Early Childhood Center

The Sarfan Center is the UJCVP's NAEYC Accredited early childhood center. Our program gives children a variety of opportunities to master social, emotional and physical tasks of each developmental stage in a healthy, safe and caring Jewish environment that welcomes children and families of all backgrounds.
