Earth Day is 4/22 and Judaism teaches us to Heal the World, Tikkun Olam. Here’s how we can make the world a greener place this week:
*Turn off your faucet while brushing your teeth
(saves 8 gallons of water a day)!
*Unplug appliances when not in use, try washing your laundry in cold water, turn off the heated dry on your dishwasher to save energy.
*Look for more eco friendly products or packaging and pay more attention to what can be recycled.
*Collect rain water to use for your houseplants or garden.
*Choose to walk, ride your bike or try the bus to cut down on air pollution from vehicles on the road.
